Zephyr is a gorgeous, gentle and affectionate 3 year old trailhound, with bundles of energy and lots of love to give. He is toilet trained, and responds well to basic commands like sit and wait. His recall is generally good, unless he sees or smells another dog he wants to play with, so when we walk him in areas with other dogs, we keep him on a long lead. He is extremely well socialised and plays beautifully with any dogs he meets – he has no aggressive tendencies at all. He is good with children and plays well with our cat too.
We adore Zephyr, but we are looking for a new home for him because it’s become increasingly clear that he needs to be in an environment with one, or more, companion dogs, and with fewer people. Although he loves people, and children in particular, he gets very anxious when anyone leaves the house, and so would be better suited to a quiet house without children where he can have a more settled routine. He does not cope well with being left alone, in the house or the car, and will howl and pace until someone returns. However, when left with another dog he will settle down and wait fairly calmly. He is at his happiest when he is racing around outside with a doggy friend and we know that once he finds a home where he can do this every day he will be so much more settled and will make someone the most wonderful pet.

Kali is an American bully she’s 6 and was born April fools day.
she’s a big softy very friendly, loves being around people, she loves a belly rub. Very good with kids and so loving , enjoys short walks and she is neutered
Beautiful Wilson, who is 2 years old, is ready to find his new home! Wilson recently came into our care and was initially a little scared, but quickly became very affectionate and trusting. He gives the very best head bops, adores curling up on your lap or a comfy blanket and loves having someone around for company and attention.
Our vets have identified that Wilson has a minor heart murmur. As he is a young cat, they confirmed that this won’t be an immediate health concern, but something to monitor as he gets older.
His ideal family will need to have some patience to continue to build trust as he is may be a little cautious when entering a new environment. As a result an adult-only home or a home with older children would be perfect so he won’t be startled by sudden movements or loud unexpected noises.
Once settled in, he will make the sweetest cat who will reward you with the loudest of purrs and companionship. Ideally Wilson would also find a home where he is not left alone for long periods of time.
So far, he has responded well to other foster cats, but given that he is a fully grown adult male, a home as a solo cat or with a younger cat would be the most suitable. The perfect home would be in a rural setting, away from busy roads, where Wilson will have access to the outdoors when the time comes.
If you are interested in adopting our gorgeous Wilson, please read our Adoption Process and fill out the Adoption Questionnaire.
Robin is an adorable 12 week old kitten. Sadly he had to have one of his front legs amputated due to an accident prior to his arrival at the rescue.
He is a particularly affectionate, chatty fella and likes nothing more than being picked up and cuddled.
Due to robin’s amputation, it would be best for him to be an indoor only cat

Mac was a wild kitten trying to survive on main road in Goleen until someone decided to help him out. He is now vaccinated, neutered and looking to move to a new home.
Mac is very human friendly but still a little scared of strangers – a quieter, encouraging home would be best. Mac would prefer an indoor-only home because his right eye is not so good. He manages fine with any sight-loss in it but he may not have the peripheral vision to cope with any outdoor obstacles!
He is litter trained and very clever with my toys and just need a loving forever home. Please apply using the Adoption Questionnaie if interested in offering Mac a home.
Willow is a 3 year old, male rabbit who is looking for a new home. All of his rabbit-accessories will be available to whoever offers him a home.
Willow is quite tame and enjoys cuddles at times, but he’s also very content to potter about and entertain himself.
He previously had a condition where his teeth overgrew, and some were removed. It doesn’t bother him at all now, and he eats a normal diet without issue.
He generally gets along well with other animals, especially cats, as long as they’re friendly toward him.
He’s a sweet little character who would make a lovely companion for someone who can give him space to explore and love him as he is.
If you would like to learn more about Willow or apply to rehome him, please fill in our Adoption Questionnaire and we will get back to you.

NOTE: SWIFT IS RESERVED
From left to right, Magpie, Raven Swift & Puffin who are approx 10 weeks old. All female except Raven who is also still a wee bit flighty.
They are all coming along nicely but still need a bit of attention & understanding to make them the cuddly little pets that they are trying to be.
These kittens are looking for a loving and patient adult-only home. As they are still quite timid, a home with children will not be suitable for them
An indoor home with access to a safe outdoor space, well away from any main and busy roads, so they can eventually be free to explore

Tara is a sensational 6 year old Doberman who has had a sad life up until now. We are determined to improve her circumstances and ensure she is warm, loved and doted on from now on!
There isn’t a lot to say about Tara – she is affectionate, gentle, works really well with other dogs and is an all-round easy, lovely dog to be around. She seems to be very clean in her kennel overnight, toilet training should not be a prolonged process with her.
When she arrived she was in a state – dull coat, infected eyes, and painfully thin. In just a couple of weeks she is more alert, energetic and her coat is gaining a bit of shine. Weight gain will be a slow slow process, for now we keep keep to regular not-oversized meals and keep a jacket on her to stave off any calorie-loss from the cold.
Tara has an underlying health condition that we will discuss with genuine applicants. It shouldn’t require costly or prolonged treatment but it is fair to say that Tara may not have as long as most dogs in terms of years left in her.
One way or another, Tara deserves the warmest, most loving home for the rest of her life – if you think you can be the one to offer her that amazing home, please read the adoption process on our website and apply using our Adoption Questionnaire. Lucky person who gets to share their home with her!
Lassie is a gorgeous little collie – she is two years of age. We don’t think this girl has had a whole lot of input in her early years, often left to own devices by her past owners. In spite of this, she has a lovely, soft temperament – although she is smarter than all of us and is nicely cheeky with it!
Lassie loves other dogs, she meets and plays nicely with all of them. She would do really well with a companion in her home but it isn’t essential. She will also happily trail along with a human and loves all the attention and fun that comes her way.
We would place Lassie in a home with children aged 7+, we mainly would like it to be a home of love, activity and stimulation for her. She is immaculately clean in her kennel, toilet training will not be an issue. She will also be fine with cats.
We know that Lassie had a history of wandering off from her first home so a secure garden would be preferrable. We believe that because she didn’t have much attention from her first owners, she wandered off in search of craic and company. We will consider a non-secure garden if the home is nicely rural but it will be imperative that owners do not leave her outside unaccompanied, there is every chance she will just head off.
We love this girl, she’s a great all-rounder. To apply for Lassie please read the adoption process on our website and apply using the Adoption Questionnaire
Millie is a 5 year old female collie who was surrendered to the rescue centre by heartbroken owners when it became apparent that Millie was not going to accept the arrival of a newborn in the house.
Millie is only adapting slowly to her change in circumstance and we would love to see her back in a home where she can get the attention and human companionship she really wants.
Millie is a smart cookie – you can ask her to sit from a full field away and she will immediately sit until released from it! She has a whole load of tricks which she loves showing us! She also occupies herself nicely with toys and she is a dream to walk onlead.
Millie has always been an only dog, which is probably what we would like to see again. Although she is very independent when around other dogs, she is also respectful and tolerant with all of the ones she meets on walks here at the centre.
Whoever takes her will need to give her plenty of time to understand that this is her new home. She will be shy and confused initially so will need the space and encouragement to settle.
We are looking for a gentle, adult-only (or children 14+) home with access to lovely, rural walks for Millie. A home with a secure area would be preferrable.
To apply for this clever, nimble, soulful girl, please read the adoption process on our website and apply using the Adoption Questionnaire.
