Zelda

Our fabulous Zelda, who we believe is approx. 3 years of age, is looking for her forever home. Having protected her pups so bravely until she was rescued by WCAWG, Zelda is ready for the calm, the care, and the routine provided by loving owners. We do not have any history of her past, but given the neglect and emaciation upon arrival we assume that her real-world experience up until now has been limited. An encouraging, patient home is a must!
Since arriving to WCAWG Zelda has responded well to human interaction. She is gentle, affectionate and has handled very nicely for grooming and health inspections. Zelda likely has limited experience of being onlead and is very strong onlead at the moment. Her home will need a secure area for her to be able to exercise until effective lead training can take place.
Within our busy, often loud, rescue center Zelda is unsure about other dogs. For now we hope she can be the only dog in a rural home until she can learn positive socialization in a calm setting.
We are looking for a quiet, encouraging home, with no young children and a commitment to give Zelda the time and patience to finally begin to flourish. If you would like to offer her a new future please fill in our Adoption Questionnaire – West Cork Animals
