Wally

Wally is a smash-hit here at the rescue!  He is a fantastic young lurcher who came into our care following the sad passing of his owner.  He is a lovely, eager-to-please young dog who enjoys snoozes and cuddles as much as he loves gallops and playtime!

Wally is a very clean dog, he can go overnight with no trouble at all.  He has no destructive habits, nor does he show any signs of separation anxiety.

Lurchers however are nicely sociable dogs so he should have a human or canine presence around most of the day in his new home. If there is a companion dog in his new home, they must be playful. This lad is all play with other dogs!

Wally could live either rurally or in a more urban setting as long as there is a dog park or somewhere to regularly and safely go for a good sprint.  He is wonderful on and off the lead, but always in the knowledge that this type of dog may chase small furries if they come across one!

We are looking for a loving, interactive home for Wally, he would be fine to live with children 8+.  A secure area in his new home would be preferable but this may be flexible depending on how off-the-beaten track the home is.
