Tara

Tara is a sensational 6 year old Doberman who has had a sad life up until now.  We are determined to improve her circumstances and ensure she is warm, loved and doted on from now on!

There isn’t a lot to say about Tara – she is affectionate, gentle, works really well with other dogs and is an all-round easy, lovely dog to be around. She seems to be very clean in her kennel overnight, toilet training should not be a prolonged process with her.

When she arrived she was in a state – dull coat, infected eyes, and painfully thin.  In just a couple of weeks she is more alert, energetic and her coat is gaining a bit of shine. Weight gain will be a slow slow process, for now we keep keep to regular not-oversized meals and keep a jacket on her to stave off any calorie-loss from the cold.

Tara has an underlying health condition that we will discuss with genuine applicants.  It shouldn’t require costly or prolonged treatment but it is fair to say that Tara may not have as long as most dogs in terms of years left in her.

One way or another, Tara deserves the warmest, most loving home for the rest of her life – if you think you can be the one to offer her that amazing home, please read the adoption process on our website and apply using our Adoption Questionnaire. Lucky person who gets to share their home with her!
