Saffi
Darling Saffi is a bundle of love and energy. She is about 3 to 4 yrs old. A terrier, believed to be a chihuahua Jack Russell cross. She is microchipped, vaccinated and treated for parasites. She absolutely loves people and wants to please them! She is a rescue girl but due to a lack of knowledge about her past I didn’t discover her issue with jealousy around other dogs until 5 months into bringing her home.
Re-training and medication were tried but after a year of perseverance her possessive nature is too engrained. sudden unprovoked attacks are stressful for all the dogs, Saffi included. When not insecure she plays happily with my Maltese and younger Yorkie.
I cannot stress strongly enough that she adores people and always wants to please them, have her belly rubbed and told she’s a good girl. And she loves her treats.
However, she would be best suited as an ONLY pet in a home with adults and/or teenagers. In the interests of finding Saffi the best home, people need to understand she has had no contact with youngsters. No cats, please.
She is house trained and crate trained but loves beds; sofas and laps! She is great on her lead. When in the garden she loves to burn off her terrier energy, once this is accomplished she will happily take herself indoors. She has never damaged the house when left alone and seems to be road aware as she does not blindly run towards open gates.
She loves to play and is very curious about everything and anything. She would be wonderful for an older person or someone with teenagers. She is a champion jumper so will need a secure garden.
In essence, she is a true terrier. Loyal and loving. Intelligent and strong willed with so much to give the right person. A tiny bundle of pure love for a someone needing a companion.
