Frost

Wonderful Frost is a 7 year old male, neutered Husky.  After his owner passed away, he had been left in the same outside run for over 2 years until we heard about him and offered him a chance at a more stimulating life. We desperately want this lad to have the opportunity of an attentive, active home to make up for the years without exercise or interaction.

Frost is a typical Husky – chatty, stubborn and not inclined to listen! However, he is also fun, playful and extremely affectionate. He is not remotely interested in food or treats however he is a big fan of all toys – tuggy, squeaky and rip-aparty!! Give this lad a teddy bear and, ok, he will rip it up, but he will be the happiest lad ever for about 15 mins!

Frost has spent his entire life without the company of other dogs.  At the rescue he shows no reactivity or dominance towards the dogs he meets and passes around the block.  When left to play offlead with dogs he’s goofy, bouncy and strong. He takes onlead walks really nicely with others and he could be rehomed with another dog but it will need to be a dog who can tolerate this guy’s misguided attempts at play!

Alternatively Frost could be an only dog, he will make sure to give you a laugh every single day! It does need to be an active home, a home without very young children and a home where he isn’t left for long hours.  A secure garden or space within the garden is a must. He cannot be rehomed with cats.

Could you be the person who finally gives Frost the life, love and craic he has been missing for so long? To apply for him please read our Adoption Process on the website and apply using the Adoption Questionnaire.
