Ambrose

The lovely Ambrose is looking for a home! Ambrose, who is approximately 2 years old, as a lovely playful nature and a beautiful shiny coat. He was found wandering with a hind leg injury, resulting in him not being able to bear weight on his leg. After being brought to our vets by the kind person who found him, thankfully, the injury wasn’t as bad as initially thought. However, our vets suspected that he’d been bitten by another animal, which left him with a nasty infection. After a clean, antibiotics, pain relief and some crate rest, Ambrose has fully recovered!

Although Ambrose was initially hissing when brought to us, likely due to the pain he was in at the time, he is a completely different cat now and is so sweet and gentle. He absolutely loves receiving attention, is becoming more affectionate every day and likes to jump up onto your lap to make biscuits and curl up. He doesn’t seem too familiar with play toys so is discovering and loving how fun everything is, like his ball track and feather string toy. He also adores anything with catnip.

Ambrose would love a home with a family who can provide him with a lot of attention and playtime. The ideal home would be somewhere rural with outdoor access that he can enjoy once settled in. He has so far responded very well to other young foster cats, is very curious and showing signs that he wants to play with them. He would be suitable to live with other cats, and would probably thrive with another young companion cat, as long as introductions are done slowly.
