Tucci – Special Needs

Tucci is a most beautimous 2–3 year old neutered white-and-tabby boy with the sweetest nature once he feels secure. He’s friendly, nuzzlicious and absolutely loves attention.

Tucci has come from an unpleasant background, and some of his early experiences left him with some issues. Thanks to patience and kindness in his foster home, he’s learning to trust and showing what a truly lovely boy he is.

🌱 What Tucci Needs

Tucci would thrive in a calm, understanding home with someone experienced in cat behaviour or willing to learn. He may show stress by over-grooming or reacting defensively to sudden hand movements when he first settles into a new home — these behaviours fluctuated when he was moving between fosters, but settled when he was placed in a longer term foster with more freedom around the house – and we expect they will settle again with patience, consistency and the stability of his very own furever home.

Visitors should be mindful around him, especially in the early days, so he doesn’t become overwhelmed.

🎾 Energy Level & Companions

Tucci has the high-energy of a youthful puss and loves interactive play. He’d adore a playmate, but would likely do best either as an only cat or with a very tolerant dog or female cat, who won’t be worried by his enthusiasm. He means well — he just plays big!

💛 Why Tucci Is Special

Despite everything he has been through, Tucci has so much love to give. He wants to trust, he wants connection and play, and he tries so hard. His name means “safe” or “secure” — exactly what we hope his new home will be.
