Xander

The gorgeous Xander, who is approximately 3 years old, is now ready to find his new home! Xander was found straying and was kindly dropped to our vets by his finder. It was clear that he had a tough life due to being underweight, suffering from a big abscess on his chest and displaying flu symptoms. After spending some time at the vet to receive the necessary treatment, he came into our care where he has put on weight and recovered well.

Xander is the friendliest cat you will ever meet! He loves attention and is a complete purr-machine. He is happy to be picked up, is gentle when being handled and will melt into your lap to receive pets. His favourite hobby is high energy playtime with dangle toys and “helping” with the litter box cleaning.

Although he adores humans, he hates other cats. Therefore, he will need to go to a family as a solo cat. The ideal home would need to be in a very rural setting where there are no neighbouring cats around. Alternatively, indoor-only homes will be considered, especially if there is a safe outdoor space available, such as a catio.

As Xander is so friendly, he would suit a variety of households, and is expected to settle into the new space very quickly. His new family should be willing to give him plenty of attention and assure that he isn’t left alone for long periods of time.
