Samson was found as a stray in horrendous condition. He was skin and bones and filthy dirty with cuts and scrapes all over. A lovely family found him rummaging in their rubbish bins for food and let him shelter in their shed where he collapsed on a bed they had put down for him. They contacted us for help and we brought him to the shelter where he spent the first few days sleeping and eating and recuperating. At first Samson recoiled and flinched at human touch but slowly he is realising that cuddles are nice and people aren’t so bad. He is still a nervous guy but couldn’t be a sweeter and more gentle soul. He loves another playful dog and will do well in a calm home with someone who have the time and patience to help his confidence grow. Just look at those fabulous ears!!
