Mila – reserved

Mila is a sweet 4 year old scruffy lurcher who needed to come into our care as her family had to emigrate. She is a tall girl, almost greyhound sized, and has been a much-loved family pet up until now.
Mila has lived with cats and children in the past. She is less certain around other dogs and can get defensive around the big or bouncy ones. She would prefer to be the only dog in her future home. If offering a home with a companion dog, it should be a calm companion who will give her space while she settles in.
Mila loves lounging around in her bed! She is a classic lurcher who will walk calmly along with you and then snooze a few hours away afterwards. A home with a secure area is preferred for sighthounds so they don’t go tearing off after rabbits, birds etc…
Mila can be a bit shy around new people, it is only when she knows and trusts you that she shows her true happy, playful nature. If you are going to offer her a home, please take into account the changes she has had recently and that a bit of time will be needed until she learns that her new home is her forever one.
