Gibson – RESERVED

Gibson is almost 12 weeks of age and is a collie mix.  He arrived to us with his 3 siblings and has been in foster care since his arrival.  Of the 4 pups Gibson is the bravest, the boldest and the most clever!  This is a pup who is very easy to train because he is sharp mentally and also very food-motivated.

Gibson has been receiving lead training and recall training in his foster home.  He is so quick to learn!  When he gets older Gibson would be an absolute dinger at agility or flyball or any type of activity that will allow him to use his brain and his energy!

Gibson would work well with another dog in the home, he’s very playful. However, he has a large personality and will need a steady companion who won’t take nonsense if he starts pushing the boundaries as he gets older.

Gibson has tended to avoid handling in his early weeks.  A lot of training is happening now on handling and getting him to approach his handler.  The benefits of this are already evident and we would like a home who will continue this positive training.  Sudden movements and noise can startle Gibson so we would prefer as home with no young children, 10 years plus would be fine.

Full work leaving hours are not suitable for puppies, we aim to find her a home where there is someone around for most of the day initially.
