Doris – RESERVED

Doris is almost 12 weeks of age and is a collie mix. She arrived to us with her 3 siblings and has been in foster care since their arrival.
Doris is a very gentle pup and tends to follow her siblings rather than be the leader. She is looking for a gentle, encouraging home that has the time to train her and keep her stimulated as she passes through her puppy and adolescent phase.
Doris has started lead training and is responding well. She does prefer to follow another dog rather than being led on her own, she would do well with another companion dog in the home but it is not essential if a reassuring, patient home arises.
Doris will be a medium sized dog when fully grown. Because she is reasonably timid we would prefer a home with children of 10 years plus so that she can have consistency and won’t be too overwhelmed. Full work leaving hours are not suitable for puppies, we aim to find her a home where there is someone around for most of the day initially.
