Bruce – reserved

Bruce is a very mellow and happy 2 year old Golden Retriever.  His family had to surrender him to our care due to a lack of rental homes on offer that will allow pets.

Bruce is a very straightforward dog – no jumping up, lovely with other dogs, walks nicely on lead and is used to walking on harness and halti. He is also terrific off the lead, stays right next to you enjoying the moment.

Bruce unfortunately is carrying too much weight on his young body.  His new home will have to commit to establishing a dietary regime that will help him to shed some pounds over the course of the next few months so he can have the longest, healthiest life possible. With this, exercise will need to build up incrementally taking longer and longer walks, or more and more playtime, as his weight evens out.

Bruce could live with children, other dogs or cats.  To apply for this happy, gentle lad please read our adoption process and fill in our Adoption Questionnaire – West Cork Animals
